Functions of Upazila Parishad

1. Five-year and various development programs are planned.

2. To implement the programs of various government departments handled by the council and to tie up and coordinate the activities of the department.

3. Construction, repair and maintenance of inter-union connecting roads.

4. In order to ensure the best use of underground water resources, the implementation and implementation of the Upazila Parishad Small Irrigation Project, according to the government's directive.
